The buyer is responsible for the offloading of all materials at the nominated place of delivery. If construction is involved, the buyer is to ensure that materials are placed within twenty metres from where construction is required. Failure to do so may result in an additional labour charge.
The site is to be clear, prior to any construction work commencing. Failure to do so may result in an additional labour charge.
Adequate power is to be made available within 5 metres of the construction site.
The buyer is responsible for obtaining all the appropriate approvals from authorities (e.g. Local councils, fire authorities) that are or may be required prior to commencement of work. Failure to obtain such approvals resulting in intervention of such an authority after work has commenced may result in a variation to the agreement, which may incur additional charges.
The buyer will ensure safe custody of the minimise deterioration to any goods and tools whatsoever that are left on the site.
Access will be required during the normal working day 7am – 4pm, and longer by arrangement if required to complete the work. Failure to adhere to these hours may result in an additional labour charge.
The buyer will provide suitable rubbish storage facilities to allow the work place to be kept clear of packaging and scrap material. Failure to do so may result in an additional labour charge due to down time while such facilities are provided or reinstated.
On completion of all works:
Any surplus materials shall remain the property of Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd. The buyer is responsible for their safekeeping until they are removed form the site.
The buyer is responsible for disposal of all packing materials, waste and rubbish resulting from the works.
Any alterations, changes or amendments requested by the buyer shall be made in writing prior to such works being affected. Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd will accept no responsibility for such amendments unless notified in this way. Additional costs related to such work will be confirmed in writing (Where possible).
Additional labour charge to be levied under points 1,2,5 & 6, above is $TBA per man, per hour or part thereof.
The price quoted for the works assumes that all floors are level (Unless otherwise stated). Additional costs to shim the installation shall be paid by the buyer.
Title of the goods supplied remains with Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd and will not pass to the buyer until full payment by way of cash or cleared funds has been effected. In the event of default of payment Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd, its agents and it’s employees have the right to enter the premises where the goods are located and repossess them.
Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd is not responsible for the strength or structural condition of the floor or foundations upon which the construction is erected, and makes no representations or warranty in relation to the performance of same.
Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd will take all due care and attention when moving customer’s goods from one location to another, but there are occasions when damage is unavoidable, and we accept no liability in such cases.
All orders are dispatched ex-factory and all amounts invoiced are due within 7 days of invoice date.
Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd offers trade credit facilities subject to the receipt of satisfactory credit references and/or the obtaining of satisfactory credit references from an established credit reference agency. Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse or withdraw credit facilities at any time.
All orders are subject to final acceptance by the factory.
All orders are accepted with the understanding that invoices will be rendered at the prices prevailing at the time of receipt at the factory. Prices are subject to change and are based upon published price lists and will be accepted accordingly.
Carriage is charged separately in line with our prevailing published tariff.
Delivery or dispatch dates cannot be guaranteed. An honest and sincere effort will always be put forth to met your requested delivery dates(s). The failure to meet this date(s) on an order does not constitute sufficient reason for cancellation or refusal of the final finished product. All agreements for deliveries and acceptances of orders are contingent upon strikes, accidents, fire or flood damage or any other cause beyond our control.
Orders accepted by Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd cannot be cancelled by the buyer without our consent. Such consent will only be given on terms which will fully indemnify Compact Business Systems (N.S.W) Pty Ltd against loss arising from such cancellation.
